Fieldmaster offers three different types of Side Mounting kits for Post drivers:

A static side mount frame only - without Side Shift (so that you can operate the Post driver at 90 degrees to the tractor) This is called the "Static Side Mount Frame"

A hydraulic side shifting operated mounting frame, so the operator can shift the Post driver in and out (600mm) from beside the tractor - this is called the "Hydra Side-Shift" base

A hydraulic side shifting base as above but with the an extra forward and backwards hydraulic operation (back shift) that enables the operator to move the Post driver: forwards, backwards, in and out - This is called the MPS (Multi Positioning System) that is an optional upgrade to the standard Hydra Side-Shift base
The Hydra Side-Shift base unit is an excellent 'aftermarket add-on' to a Rear Mounted Post driver to enable fenceline maintenance and very manuevrable and precise operation of the rammer from the operators hydraulic control meaning easy alignment of posts every time!
As well, the Hydra-Side Shift base is available with the MPS (Multi positioning system) that allows not only hydraulic movement in and out (sideways) but also forward and reverse as well! This in fact enables the operator to acheive a full 360 degree positioning of the rammer striking head to align with accuracy every time.....and eliminate reshifting the tractor!
This is heavily constructed with dual box section inner frame encased in U channel to provide a very rigid & stable anchor for the postdriver - essential to eliminate racking and sloppy movement that can develop over time with single RHS lighter alternatives.
The Standard Hydra-Side-Shift kit comes with a counterbalance weight, tool holder, hose kit and dual slide frame (with 600mm slide travel).
Two other NARROW (300) and LONGREACH (900) models are available also with features including a 4-way backshift movement and a compact dual linkage base specially designed for narrow row vineyards.
The Static Side Mount frame is available as a frame only, or with a counterbalance weight for more stability.
